It helps to relieve stomach discomfort in babies due to bloating, gas, acidity, indigestion, post-meal stomach distension, and loss of appetite. It also helps in improving the function of the digestive system. It contains Alpha-Amylase, Anise oil, Caraway Oil, Dill Oil, and Papain as active ingredients.
Alpha-amylase and papain are digestive enzymes where Alpha-amylase helps in breaking down sugars and aid in their digestion and papain is a proteolytic enzyme that aids in the digestion of proteins and breaks them into small fragments and amino acids. Anise oil, Caraway Oil, and Dill Oil improve digestion, reduce stomach gas, manages stomach ulcers, prevent and provide relief from stomach spasms. They also help in digesting food.
Give Merizyme Drops as directed by your doctor. For children less than 1 year of age give 0.5ml (8-9 drops) daily. You can give it in a single dose or divided doses. Avoid exceeding the stated daily recommended dosage. Do not take if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
