MENABOL TABLET contains Stanozolol which belongs to the group of medicines called Anabolic steroids. MENABOL TABLET is used to manage hereditary angioedema, which is a condition that occurs by recurrent episodes of severe swelling involving face, limbs, intestinal tract, and airways in affected individuals. MENABOL TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Stanozolol. It is also not recommended for use in patients with breast cancer, prostate cancer, hypercalcemia (high calcium level in blood), and/or nephrotic syndrome (kidney disorder). Before taking MENABOL TABLET, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, heart problems (such as congestive heart disease), kidney, and/or liver disease. MENABOL TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy since the medicine may cause harm to the fetus. It should be used with caution in breastfeeding women only if it is clearly necessary since it is not known whether the medicine may pass through breast milk. MENABOL TABLET should be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) only if it is clearly necessary since the safety and efficacy of medicine is not known. It is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients after consulting the doctor. The most common side effects of taking MENABOL TABLET are hirsutism (excessive hair growth), menstrual irregularities, and/or hepatic dysfunction (associated with symptoms such as yellowing of skin and whites of eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, and/or nausea/vomiting).
