MELOSET 3MG TABLET contains Melatonin which belongs to the group of medicines called Hormones. It is used to manage jetlag in adults. Jet-lag can be recognized by sleep disturbances, daytime tiredness, fatigue, mild mental impairment, irritability and digestive system disturbances experienced after flying.
Avoid smoking as it may reduce the effect of this medicine and alcohol consumption while taking MELOSET 3MG TABLET as it can impair sleep and potentially worsen certain symptoms of jetlag (Ex. headache, morning fatigue and concentration).
MELOSET 3MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with impaired liver or kidney function, epilepsy, autoimmune disease (where the body is attacked by its own immune system), diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance. Consult your doctor before taking it.
MELOSET 3MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women and women of childbearing potential must use effective contraception. MELOSET 3MG TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through the breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking it.
MELOSET 3MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. MELOSET 3MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). Consult your doctor before taking it.
The most common side effects of taking MELOSET 3MG TABLET are headache and drowsiness. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect worsens or persist for a long period of time.
