MAXILIV INJECTION contains Glutathione which belongs to the group of medicines called Antioxidants. It is used to manage alcoholic fatty liver (disease that occurs due to heavy alcohol use), liver fibrosis/cirrhosis (scarring of liver due to excessive consumption of alcohol), and hepatitis (inflammation of liver) in affected individuals.
MAXILIV INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Glutathione. Before receiving MAXILIV INJECTION, inform your doctor if you suffer from liver problems (such as chronic hepatitis), and kidney problems (such as acute renal failure).
MAXILIV INJECTION is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless it is clearly necessary. It should be used with caution in neonates, premature infants, children, and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 70 years and above) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of receiving MAXILIV INJECTION are anorexia (eating disorder), nausea, vomiting, and/or rash. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.
