LUPIDENT MOUTH WASH is a combination of Chlorhexidine, Sodium fluoride and Zinc chloride which belongs to the group of medicines called Disinfectants and Topical Anti-infective agents respectively. It is used to manage gingivitis. It also maintains oral hygiene, inhibits formation of dental plague, manages recurrent oral ulceration, manages denture stomatitis and thrush.
Gingivitis is an inflammatory gum disease caused by bacteria which causes irritation, redness and swelling of the gums. Oral mucositis is a swelling of the tissues in the mouth. Before using LUPIDENT MOUTH WASH inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver, heart or lung disease. LUPIDENT MOUTH WASH should not be used in children and adolescents below 12 years of age unless prescribed by the doctor.
LUPIDENT MOUTH WASH is safe to use in pregnant and breast-feeding women, however, consult with your doctor before using. The most common side effects of using LUPIDENT MOUTH WASH are tongue discoloration, irritation or burning sensation in the mouth, reversible brown staining of the teeth. Consult your doctor’s advice if any of these worsen or doesn’t improve.
