LOT EYE DROPS contains Loteprednol which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage post-operative inflammation and pain following eye surgery.
Before using LOT EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, any eye infection, or recently had cataract surgery. LOT EYE DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant women only if advised by the doctor. LOT EYE DROPS should be used with caution among breastfeeding mothers. LOT EYE DROPS should be used with caution in children (from birth to 11 years of age) and in elderly patients.
Your doctor may advise you to avoid contact lenses and monitor the pressure inside your eyes during management with LOT EYE DROPS. The most common side effects associated with use of LOT EYE DROPS are inflammation in the anterior chamber of the eye, eye pain and foreign body sensation in the eye. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms bothers you.
