LOPEZ 1MG TABLET contains Lorazepam which belongs to the group of medicines called Antianxiety agents. It is used to manage anxiety or sleeping difficulties due to anxiety which significantly affects routine life. LOPEZ 1MG TABLET can also be used as a sedative before any operative dental management or surgery.
Anxiety is an emotion which is characterized by feelings of tension, worried and intrusive thoughts, and physical changes like increased blood pressure, sweating, trembling and dizziness. Your doctor might ask you to make some lifestyle changes such as having healthy sleeping and eating habits, managing stress and meditation.
LOPEZ 1MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having lung or liver diseases, myasthenia gravis (very weak or tired muscles), and sleep apnoea (breathing problems while sleeping). It should be used with caution in patients who have kidney diseases, habitual excessive use of drugs or alcohol, personality disorders, depression, history of psychotic illness, history of convulsions, and glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).
LOPEZ 1MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women. LOPEZ 1MG TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. LOPEZ 1MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients. LOPEZ 1MG TABLET should not be used in children below 5 years of age.
The most common side effects of taking this medicine are sedation (sleepiness), drowsiness, fatigue, confusion, dizziness, muscle weakness, or depression. Ask for your doctor’s advice if any of these side effects worsen or don’t improve.
