LIBSET 250 TABLET contains Lapatinib which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticancer agents. It is used to manage metastatic breast cancer (cancer that has been spread to other parts of the body from breast). It is mostly used in combination with other anticancer or hormonal medicines (such as capecitabine, trastuzumab or anastrozole) to achieve better results.
LIBSET 250 TABLET can be taken either one hour before or one hour after food. During management with LIBSET 250 TABLET, your doctor will periodically monitor your heart, liver, kidney and lung functions as a precaution.
Before taking LIBSET 250 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any lung, liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diarrhea before taking this medicine.
Do not take LIBSET 250 TABLET without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking LIBSET 250 TABLET are nausea, vomiting, weakness, indigestion, constipation, sore mouth, trouble sleeping, back pain, joint pain, headache, hot flushes, hair loss, nail disorder and abnormal heartbeat. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.
