LESURIDE TABLET contains Levosulpiride, which belongs to the group of medicines called Prokinetic agents. It is used to manage nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. It can also be used to manage diabetic gastroparesis.
Diabetic gastroparesis is a stomach condition caused by poorly controlled diabetes. It manages the stomach muscles from emptying their digested contents into the intestines. This creates a feeling of fullness even after eating only a little amount of food, along with nausea and a lack of appetite.
Before taking LESURIDE TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have epilepsy, mania, or any other mental illness as a precaution.
LESURIDE TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having bleeding or any blockage or tear in the gut. It is also not suitable for use in patients having cancer or tumours in the body. Do not take LESURIDE TABLET without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
The most common side effects of taking LESURIDE TABLET are headache, drowsiness, tiredness, breast enlargement and discharge, and a decrease in sex drive. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects bother you.
