LAM PLUS TABLET is a combination of Alprazolam and Propranolol which belongs to the group of medicines called Anxiolytics and Antihypertensive agents respectively. It is used to manage anxiety and panic attacks. It can also be used to reduce elevated heart rate and blood pressure associated with anxiety. It is also capable of reducing tremor (shakiness), restlessness and migraine headache among the affected patients.
Before taking LAM PLUS TABLET inform your doctor if you have any problems in your heart, liver or kidneys. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, muscle weakness, depression with suicidal thoughts, any mental illnesses, history of alcoholism or drug abuse or thyroid problems as a precaution. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking this medicine as it may make you feel more dizzy or drowsy.
Do not take LAM PLUS TABLET without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking this medicine are depression, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, forgetfulness, constipation, dry mouth, decreased sex drive, problems in erection, blurred vision, cold hands and feet, slow heartbeat and problems in sleeping. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.
You must also inform your doctor immediately if you experience suicidal thoughts or any other unusual changes in behaviour (such as agitation, restlessness, aggressiveness, irritability, violence or anger).
