Lactiviest Sachet is a probiotic supplement for the management of diarrhoea associated with the use of antibiotics and feeding tubes. It is also used for the management of irritable bowel syndrome (group of intestinal disorders with diarrhoea, stomach pain, excess gas, bloating etc). It contains saccharomyces boulardii as an active ingredient that helps gut to fight off with the disease-causing organisms.
Saccharomyces works by restoring the balance of good healthy bacteria in the intestine that may get disturbed after the use of antibiotics or due to any infection in the intestine.
Always take Lactiviest Sachet exactly as advised by your doctor. It should be taken orally directly or mixed with water or honey. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage. Do not mix Lactiviest Sachet with food items that are too hot or cold. It is not recommended in patients having central venous catheter (tube inserted from small vein below collarbone to large vein of heart for blood transfusions, chemotherapy etc.).
