IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET is a combination of Carvedilol and Ivabradine, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiarrhythmics. It is indicated for symptomatic management of chronic stable angina pectoris in coronary artery disease patients and to manage chronic heart failure (II-IV NYHA-Class) with systolic dysfunction.
Along with the management, your doctor will monitor your heart rate to know if there are any irregularities in your heart rate. Your doctor may also check your blood glucose levels to know any variations. Avoid grapefruit juice while taking IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET, as it may increase the side effects.
Before taking IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have retina pigmentosa, diabetes, psoriasis, or hyperthyroidism (increased thyroid hormone in the body). IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET is not recommended in patients having metabolic acidosis, unmanaged phaeochromocytoma, and stroke. Consult your doctor before taking it.
IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET is not recommended in patients having lung, liver, and heart diseases. Patients with kidney disease should use it with caution. IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation. Contact your doctor before taking it. IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years). Consult your doctor before taking it.
The most common side effects of taking IVABID CV 6.25 TABLET are headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
