ITROSTRED DUSTING POWDER is used to manage fungal skin infections such as tinea corporis (ring worm of the body), tinea cruris (fungal infection in the skin of the genitals, inner thighs, and buttocks), tinea pedis (fungal infection that usually begins between the toes), tinea versicolor (fungal infection that causes small, discoloured skin patches), and onychomycosis (nail infection) in affected individuals. It is also used to soothe irritated skin and provide relief from fungal itch in affected individuals.
It contains a medicine called
Itraconazole
which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. It works by stopping the growth of fungus that causes these infections.
Patients allergic to itraconazole should not use ITROSTRED DUSTING POWDER. It is not recommended for use in pregnant women, and this medicine should be used with caution in breast-feeding women only if advised by the doctor.
The most common side effects associated with the use of ITROSTRED DUSTING POWDER are skin irritation, rashes, burning sensation, redness, or itching at the application site. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
