IMXIA AT 5% TOPICAL SOLUTION is a combination of Azelaic acid, Minoxidil and Tretinoin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Dermatological preparations. It is indicated for management of Androgenetic alopecia in both males and females. Androgenetic alopecia is expressed in males as baldness of the vertex of the scalp and/or as frontal hair recession. In females, it is expressed as diffuse hair loss or thinning in the fronto parietal areas. Androgenetic alopecia is a genetically determined, patterned, progressive loss of hair from the scalp and occurs in both men and women. Both androgens and genetics play a role in its pathogenesis. Before using IMXIA AT 5% TOPICAL SOLUTION, inform your doctor if are allergic to any medicines. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, flushing area with large amounts of cool tap water if accidental contact occurs. IMXIA AT 5% TOPICAL SOLUTION is not recommended in infants. Safety and efficacy have not been established for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Consult your doctor for advice. The common side effects of IMXIA AT 5% TOPICAL SOLUTION are application site reactions such as burning, stinging, or redness, contact dermatitis and allergic reactions.
