Liv 52 DS Tablet is an Ayurvedic formulation which is used to strengthen the liver. It is used for the management of infective hepatitis, chemical hepatotoxicity (liver damage due to certain drugs like statins, drugs used in chemotherapy, anti-tubercular drugs and antiretrovirals), alcohol induced liver damage, fatty liver, pre and early cirrhotic conditions, loss of appetite, and anorexia.
It contains chicory and caper bush as active ingredients which have antioxidants and hepatoprotective qualities.
Chicory also called as Kasani, protects the liver against alcohol toxicity. It also exhibits antioxidant properties by removing the free radicals from the body. The Caper Bush also called as Himsara, is a potent hepatoprotective agent which protects the liver cells and promotes regeneration and also keeps the liver enzymes in balance. It has flavonoids which impart antioxidant properties to it.
Take Liv 52 DS Tablet, as advised by your doctor. It is safe to use in children and adults both. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage. Consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions while taking it.
