HHDERM CREAM is a combination of Mometasone furoate, Fusidic acid and Clotrimazole which belongs to a group of medicines called Topical Corticosteroids, Oral antistaphylococcal antibiotics and Imidazoles respectively. HHDERM CREAM is used in the topical management of various bacterial & fungal skin infections in affected individuals. It is also used to manage certain skin problems such as psoriasis and atopic eczema (itchy inflammation of the skin).
A bacterial infection occurs when a bacterium enters the body, multiplies and causes a reaction in the body, resulting in infection and symptoms such as unexplained redness and/or swelling of the skin. A fungal infection is a skin disease caused by a fungus that causes infection and symptoms such as irritation, scaly skin, redness, itching and/or swelling in the affected area.
HHDERM CREAM is not recommended for use if you have lung disease (such as tuberculosis), skin infections such as rosacea (a skin condition affecting the face), acne, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin), dermatitis (skin inflammation) around the mouth, genital itching, viral infections such as shingles, ulcerated skin or wounds. Before applying HHDERM CREAM, inform your doctor if you smoke and/or have any kidney problems.
HHDERM CREAM should be used with caution during pregnancy and in women who are breastfeeding. It is not recommended for use in children under the age of two. The most common side effects of applying HHDERM CREAM are mild to moderate pruritus (itchy skin), burning and stinging sensations of the skin, folliculitis (inflamed hair follicles), dry skin, mild skin atrophy and telangiectasia (dilated small blood vessels on the skin). Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms get worse.
