Hexidine Mouth Wash is an antiseptic and anti-plaque liquid that is used for the management of gingivitis (inflammation of gingiva). It helps to manage accumulation of plaque in the absence of brushing.
It also manages mouth and throat infections, oral candidiasis (fungal infection of mouth), and mouth ulcers. It contains chlorhexidine gluconate as active ingredient that helps to maintain oral hygiene.
Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antimicrobial agent that causes disruption of the bacterial cell membrane and kills the bacteria inside the mouth, thereby helps to manage infections arising out of poor oral hygiene.
Use Hexidine Mouth Wash exactly as advised by your doctor. It is for oral use only. Swish and spit, do not swallow it. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage. Do not rinse your mouth, eat or drink thereafter for 20 minutes. Avoid consuming tannin-containing food and drinks for at least one hour after using this liquid.
