GIT 50MG TABLET contains Itopride which belongs to a group of medicine called Gastroprokinetic agents. It is used in the management of gastrointestinal symptoms of functional dyspepsia (indigestion) and non-ulcer dyspepsia (bloating, upper abdominal pain, anorexia, heartburn, nausea and vomiting). GIT 50MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with an increase in gastrointestinal motility (gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical obstruction or perforation).
The safety and effectiveness of GIT 50MG TABLET in pregnant women and children under 16 years of age has not yet been established. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. GIT 50MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking GIT 50MG TABLET are diarrhoea, constipation, headache, abdominal pain, dizziness or feeling irritated. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.
