FURA M TABLET is a combination of Furazolidone and Metronidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antimicrobial agents. It is used to manage diarrhea and dysentery caused due to various bacterial and protozoal infections affecting the gut such as amoebiasis, colitis, cholera, bacteremic salmonellosis or giardiasis (beaver fever causing stomach cramps, bloating and watery diarrhea).
It can also be used to manage infections of the blood, brain, bones, teeth and genital areas. It also helps in managing gum inflammation, leg ulcers and pressure sores and manages post-surgical infections.
Take FURA M TABLET for the stipulated duration as instructed by the doctor to achieve better results. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.
Before taking FURA M TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking FURA M TABLET as a precaution.
The most common side effects of taking FURA M TABLET are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain and headache. Inform your doctor if they trouble you.
