FLUVIR ORAL SUSPENSION contains oseltamivir, which belongs to the group of medicines called antivirals. It is used in adults, adolescents, children, and infants (including full-term new-born babies) for the management of flu (influenza) and also as management management in exceptional circumstances, such as if there is a global flu pandemic and the seasonal flu vaccine may not provide sufficient protection. FLUVIR ORAL SUSPENSION can be used when you have flu symptoms, and the flu virus is known to be spreading in your community. It can also be used to manage flu in adults, adolescents, children, and infants above 1 year of age, but only if you have been in contact with someone affected by flu.
