Ferofag Capsule is a dietary supplement containing Asparto Glycinate, L-Methylfolate and Methycobalamin. It is used to manage iron deficiency anemia and folate deficiency.
Ferrous Asparto Glycinate is a chelated iron containing a combination of aspartic acid and glycine with iron. Iron plays an important role in the production of red blood cells which carries oxygen. Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) that helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. L-Methylfolate being a folic acid is essential to various bodily functions that range from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. L-Methylfolate and Mecobalamin is also useful in the clinical dietary management of the problem of endothelial dysfunction that is associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
