FENOCOR 67MG CAPSULE contains Fenofibrate, which belongs to the group of medicines called fibrates. It is used to lower fat (triglycerides) levels in the blood. FENOCOR 67MG CAPSULE is used along with a low-fat diet, exercise and weight loss to lowering the levels of fat in the blood. Fenofibrate works by lowering triglycerides and bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and raising the levels of good cholesterol (HDL). FENOCOR 67MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems, kidney problems, gallbladder problems or pancreatitis. FENOCOR 67MG CAPSULE is generally not recommended for use among pregnant and breastfeeding women. The most common side effects of taking FENOCOR 67MG CAPSULE may include diarrhoea, stomach pain, wind (flatulence), feeling sick (nausea), being sick (vomiting), an increase in the levels of liver enzymes in the blood and an increase in homocysteine.
