EXSORA OINTMENT is a combination of Benzoic Acid, Ichthammol, Salicylic Acid and Triamcinolone Acetonide which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical antifungals, Keratolytic and topical corticosteroids respectively. It is a topical ointment used to manage chronic eczematous dermatoses and psoriasis.
EXSORA OINTMENT also reduces inflammation quickly, relieves irritation, ensures psoriasis recovery, helps in the rebuilding of normal, healthy skin, and is used on hard plaques on the soles and palms.
Things to be avoided while using EXSORA OINTMENT are placing wet or wet-to-dry packs on the affected areas, applying additional drugs to the same area of skin, applying in broken areas, and smoking, which may lead to a fire.
EXSORA OINTMENT is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women, unless considered necessary. EXSORA OINTMENT is not recommended for breastfeeding women unless considered necessary. EXSORA OINTMENT should be used with caution around children. EXSORA OINTMENT should be used with caution in elderly patients.
The most common side effects of taking EXSORA OINTMENT are a warm or burning sensation, irritations or allergic skin reactions, skin redness, itching, excessive dryness, peeling, thinning of your skin, blistering skin, stretch marks, and acne. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms get worse.
