ETHOMID 250MG TABLET contains Ethionamide which belongs to the group of medicines called Antitubercular drugs. It is used in the management of active tuberculosis caused by a bacteria called M. tuberculosis resistant to other antibiotics (Ex. isoniazid, rifampicin) or when the patient is intolerant to other medicines. ETHOMID 250MG TABLET is generally used in combination with other medicines.

ETHOMID 250MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children (below 12 years of age) except in some specific disease conditions. Ask for your doctor’s advice before giving it to your child.
