POLYCOL : Sterile Braided Coated Synthetic Absorbable suture made of copolymer from 90% Glycolide & 10% L-lactide.Polyglactin 910 (PGA-PLA) Violet/Undyed suture, coatedwith Poly (glycolide-co-L-lactide)[Glycomer-37 ( 30/70))and calcium stearate, facilitates smoothtissue passage and has excellent knotting properties. It has high tensile strength and has a predictable and uniform absorption profile via hydrolysis, it retains approximately 75% of its initial tensile strength after 14 days and 45%initialtensile strength after21days and is completely absorbed between60 to 75 days. USP sizes available 2 to 8/0
