Otitis externa is a condition that causes inflammation (redness and swelling) of the external ear canal, which is the tube between the outer ear and eardrum. It is often called as swimmer's ear because repeated exposure to water can make the ear canal more vulnerable to inflammation. Your doctor may advise you to take relevant tests to understand your existing condition.
ENTEROMYCETIN OTIC DROPS is not recommended for use if you have burst in your ear drum. Before using ENTEROMYCETIN OTIC DROPS inform your doctor if you have blood disorders (anemia) or bone marrow problems. There are limited information available on the use of ENTEROMYCETIN OTIC DROPS during pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. The most common side effects of ENTEROMYCETIN OTIC DROPS includes temporary itching, burning or irritation of the ear.
