ELIPRAN 20MG TABLET contains Eletriptan which belongs to the group of medicines called Serotonin receptor agonists. It can be used to manage migraine headache (severe throbbing headache, accompanied by nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to sound and light) with or without aura in adults.

Before the start of a migraine headache, you may experience a phase called an aura, which can involve vision disorder, numbness and speech disorders.

ELIPRAN 20MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver and kidney disease, high blood pressure, heart problems and stroke. ELIPRAN 20MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with mild or moderate liver, kidney disease and diabetes. Contact your doctor before taking it.

ELIPRAN 20MG TABLET should be used during pregnancy only if clearly necessary. It is recommended to avoid breast-feeding for 24 hours after taking this medicine.

ELIPRAN 20MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age and in elderly patients over 65 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

The most common side effects of taking ELIPRAN 20MG TABLET are heart palpitation, increased heart rate, dizziness, spinning sensation (vertigo), headache, feeling sleepy etc. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
