ECOVIN SUSPENSION contains Griseofulvin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-fungals. It is used to manage fungal infections of the skin, hair or nails where topical therapy is not suitable or has failed to manage the condition.
Avoid consumption of alcohol during management with ECOVIN SUSPENSION, as it may cause nausea, vomiting or flushing. Before taking ECOVIN SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have skin, liver or kidney problems or porphyria (which results from an increase in certain chemicals related to red blood cell proteins).
ECOVIN SUSPENSION is not recommended for pregnant women. It is not known if this medicine passes into breast milk in breastfeeding women; therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. The most common side effects of taking ECOVIN SUSPENSION are skin conditions like rashes. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
