Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule is a combination of
Aspirin and Atorvastatin
. It is prescribed for the management of heart attacks and strokes in patients with cardiovascular risk factors. It is also suggested as a maintenance therapy following angioplasty or bypass therapy or protecting from further risk of heart attacks.
Take this medicine as advised by your doctor. It is preferably taken with meals to avoid stomach discomfort. Try to take the medicine at the same time, which will make you easily remember for taking it daily. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.
While taking Ecosprin AV, it is important to follow a low-fat, low-carb diet with high protein and lots of water vegetables to help you manage cholesterol levels. Consult a suitable dietician and fitness trainer who can guide you with regular exercises and track your caloric intake.
Before taking Ecosprin AV, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing kidney and liver conditions. You must also inform your doctor if you have severe ulcers in the stomach or intestines, have bloody stools or vomits or scheduled for any upcoming surgeries or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as a precaution.
If you are pregnant, ecosprin AV is not suitable for use especially during the last trimester due to possibility of side effects.
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule may make you bleed easily. Therefore, be cautious while you drive, shave or get prone to injuries very easily, as any accidental injuries may make you bleed more.
Other common side effects of Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule are stomach upset, dizziness, nausea, vomiting or indigestion. Inform your doctor if any of these side effect worsens or trouble you.
