E Ointment is an emollient used for various skin disorders. It contains Emulsifying wax, White soft paraffin and Liquid paraffin. It is used for various skin conditions such as dry eczema, xerosis, atopic eczema, psoriasis and winter dermatitis. Emulsifying wax is used in lotions and creams as a thickener and emulsifier. Its main purpose is to make sure that the oil and water ingredients in the recipe bind well together and stay combined. White soft paraffin and Liquid paraffin softens or soothes the skin by managing water loss from the outer layer of the skin. Always use E Ointment as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply once daily over the affected area or as directed by the physician. Do not use this ointment if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It should not be applied over infected and/or non-intact skin.
