DYSLIPTIN EZ TABLET is a combination of Atorvastatin and Ezetimibe which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-hyperlipidemic agents. It is used for the management of patients with primary hypercholesterolemia (high amounts of cholesterol in the blood). It is used along with a proper diet to lower bad cholesterol and fats (LDL, triglycerides) and raise good cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. High cholesterol is when you have too much of a fatty substance called cholesterol in your blood. Cholesterol is a type of fat (or lipid) in the blood. Having high levels of fats in the blood can lead to serious health problems such as heart disease. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels, and liver function is recommended while taking this DYSLIPTIN EZ TABLET. Before taking DYSLIPTIN EZ TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems or heart problems or high blood pressure. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. The most common side effects of taking DYSLIPTIN EZ TABLET are joint pain, diarrhoea, tendon problems, memory loss, confusion, depression, muscle and body pain.
