DROTIGO DS TABLET is an antispasmodic agent used to provide relief from painful conditions such as menstrual pain, abdominal pain or any other pain related to smooth muscle. It is also used in the pain management of functional bowel disorders and alleviating pain in renal colic.
It contains a medicine called
Drotaverine
which works by relaxing the smooth muscles. Take this medicine as directed by your physician. Avoid misuse of drotaverine without medical consultation as it could lead to stomach ulcers and inflammation.
Before taking DROTIGO DS TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have asthma, allergic rhinitis, stomach ulcers or inflammation or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as a precaution.
The most common side effects of taking this medicine are dry mouth, dizziness, headache and irregular pulse rate. Consult your doctor if they trouble you.
