Drez Solution is an anti-septic solution that is used for skin disinfection before and after surgery. Also, it is used to manage infection in wounds, cuts, abrasions and burns. It contains povidone-iodine as active ingredient to decrease the risk of infection by killing the micro-organisms at the site of application.
Povidone-iodine inhibits the synthesis of various cellular mechanisms of bacteria that lead to their death. Also, it exhibits anti-inflammatory reactions that counteracts inflammation associated with pathogens and host response.
Always use Drez Solution as advised by the doctor. It is for external use only. Clean the affected area and apply a small amount of solution to the affected area. The area may be left uncovered or you may cover with a sterile bandage. Do not use Drez Solution if you are allergic to any of its components.
