DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET contains Donepezil which belongs to the group of medicines called Cholinesterase inhibitors. DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET is indicated for the management of mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s dementia.
Alzheimer's disease is a brain disorder that causes dementia (a group of symptoms that affect the memory, thinking and social abilities of a person) by destroying the memory and other important mental functions in the brain which is characterized by memory loss, confusion, and behavioral changes.
Before taking DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET, inform your doctor if you are allergic to Donepezil, have asthma, heart, kidney, or liver disease.
DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET is not recommended for use if you have severe liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking medicine.
DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET is generally not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless it is considered clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before taking DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET.
The safety and effectiveness of DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET in pediatric patients have not been established.
The most common side effects of taking DONZHEIMER 5 TABLET are diarrhoea, feeling sick, tiredness, difficulty in sleeping, common cold, loss of appetite, hallucinations, and aggressive behaviour. Consult your doctor if any of these above side effects get worse.
