Ecosprin 75 Tablet contains Aspirin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiplatelet agent. It manages the formation of blood clots in the body and reduces the risk of its associated conditions (like heart attack or stroke). Blood clots (also known as thrombosis) are formed in the body due to excessive clumping of tiny blood cells called platelets at a particular region in a blood vessel.
These blood clots can happen in any blood vessels supplying major organs (like heart or brain) and usually stops or reduces the flow of blood and oxygen to the organs, leading to various thrombotic problems like heart attack, angina or stroke. Ecosprin 75 Tablet can also be used to manage the risk of heart attack and stroke among patients who have recently undergone a bypass surgery.
While taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet, it is important to keep yourself hydrated as it may make you get dehydrated (excessive thirsty with dryness of mouth) very easily.
Before taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have asthma or any liver, kidney or heart problems. Ecosprin 75 Tablet is generally not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in children (aged below 16 years) unless advised by the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet are indigestion and bruising. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
