DAFLON 500MG TABLET is combination of Diosmin, Hesperidine, and Micronised Purified Flavonoid Fraction which belongs to the group of medicines called Venotonic and Vasculoprotector agents. It is used to manage venous circulation disorders and relieve the symptoms of acute hemorrhoidal attack.
Venous circulation disorder is a condition causing damage to the veins due to raised blood pressure inside the veins. It is characterised by symptoms such as restlessness, pain, and swelling in the legs.
Acute hemorrhoidal attack is the flare-up of veins in the rectal area, causing too much pressure and swelling inside the affected veins in the rectal area. It is characterised by symptoms such as bleeding, discomfort, anal leakage, itching, and a burning sensation.
DAFLON 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you are allergic to micronized, purified flavonoid fractions, especially diosmin or hesperidin. It is not recommended to be used if you have rare hereditary problems such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency (lactose intolerance), or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
DAFLON 500MG TABLET should be used cautiously in patients with hepatic and renal impairment. It is also not recommended to be used in pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, children, or adolescents (under 18 years of age). Consult your doctor before taking it.
The common side effects associated with the use of DAFLON 500MG TABLET are diarrhoea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, sleeplessness, dizziness, tiredness, and anxiety. Contact your doctor or a nearby hospital if any of the conditions worsen.
