COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION is a combination of Ketorolac and Olopatadine which belongs to the group of medicines called Analgesics and Anti-allergic medicines respectively. It is used to manage signs and symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (an allergic condition causing eye inflammation, redness, itching or irritation with excessive tear production). It can also be used to manage eye inflammation and irritation following eye surgeries.
Use COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION as advised by your physician. If you wear soft contact lenses, make sure to remove them before using COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION and wait for at least 10 minutes before reinsertion. Leave a time gap of at least 5 minutes before applying other eye drops or ointments after applying COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION.
Before using COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION inform your doctor if you have severe viral or fungal ear/eye infections. You must also inform your doctor if you have dry eyes, diabetes, stomach ulcers or joint pain as a precaution.
Do not use COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION may make your vision blur after application. Therefore, do not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines until your vision becomes clear.
The most common side effects of using COMBIPAT STERILE OPTHALMIC SOLUTION are temporary burning sensation and blurring of vision, mild eye itching, redness and irritation, dry eyes, headache and taste changes. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
