Colicaid syrup is a digestive syrup used in infants and children to relieve infantile colic (cramp-like pain), flatulence (wind), and abdominal bloating in conditions such as indigestion, abdominal pain or gastric infection. It contains Dill oil, Fennel oil and Simethicone as active ingredients which help to provide relief from stomach discomfort.
Simethicone, an ingredient in this medicine, releases a gas that has been trapped and relieves discomfort, while dill and fennel oils minimize spasm and cramp-like pain and increase intestinal motility.
Take/give Colicaid syrup to your child exactly as advised by your doctor. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage. Consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions while taking it.
