COGNIVEL TABLET is a combination of Ginkgo biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine which belongs to the group of medicines called Nootropics. It is used as a cognitive enhancer and helps to improve brain function, enhance focus and increase the blood flow to the brain. It also improves communication between the nerve cells and protects the brain. This medicine is used to manage the conditions such as stroke and cerebral insufficiency, Alzheimer’s vascular dementia, vertigo and vestibular disorders, stress and anxiety disorders.
COGNIVEL TABLET is not recommended for use if you have serious kidney problems, Huntingtin’s disease, or brain hemorrhage. Before taking COGNIVEL TABLET inform your doctor if you have bleeding problems, epilepsy, hypertension, or cardiac dysfunction. COGNIVEL TABLET is not recommended for use in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
COGNIVEL TABLET is not recommended to use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. In elderly patients COGNIVEL TABLET should be used with caution. The most common side effects of taking COGNIVEL TABLET are nausea, heartburn, headache, insomnia, dizziness, skin rash, and confusion. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration.
