Cofsils Experdine Gargle is an antiseptic agent used to manage infected inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx caused by bacterial or monilial infections such as tonsilitis, pharyngitis, stomatitis, traumatic ulcers and during dental surgery. It contains povidone iodine as active ingredients to provide quick relief from infected inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx.
Povidone-iodine exhibits temporary relief from sore throat by killing the responsible germs – virus, bacteria, spores, fungi and other simple organisms, by penetrating into them and oxidising important proteins of the causative organisms. This results in the relief from soreness in throat. It provides a quick relief in about 30 seconds.
Always use Cofsils Experdine Gargle as advised by the doctor. Shake well before use. For usage in adults and children above 6 years, dilute with an equal volume of water and gargle, then rinse for at least 30 seconds and spit it out. Repeat for every 2 to 4 hours as long as required or as directed by the doctor. It is not recommended for use in children below 6 years of age.
