CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET contains Clotrimazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungals. It is used in the management of candidal vaginitis. Candidal vaginitis is an infection caused by a type of fungi called yeast that affects the female genital organs such as the vagina and vulva the outer region of the vagina.
Candidal vaginitis causes itching in the vagina and areas surrounding it, abnormally smelly discharge, pain during intercourse, and painful urination. Pregnant women, women using contraceptives, women with weakened immune systems recently managed with antibiotics, and diabetic women are highly susceptible to this infection. Do not use tampons, intravaginal douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET. Sexual intercourse should be avoided during the management.
CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with irregular vaginal bleeding, abnormal vaginal bleeding like a blood discharge, ulcers, blisters, or sores in the vagina, lower stomach pain, fever, shivering, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, a smell in the vaginal discharge, or a menstrual period. CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET should be used with caution in patients who have had fungal infections twice in the last six months or who have ever had a sexually transmitted disease or had sexual contact with a patient who has a sexually transmitted disease.
In pregnant and breastfeeding women, CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET should be used with caution. Kindly consult your doctor before using it. CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET should not be used by children under the age of 16. In elderly patients over the age of 60, CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET should be used with caution. The common side effects of CLOZOL V 6 VAGINAL TABLET are burning, stinging, swelling, and irritation sensations in the vagina.
