CIVADERM XL CREAM contains Ciclopirox, which belongs to the group of medicines called antifungals. It is indicated for the topical management of fungal skin infections like tinea pedis (infection of the feet causing an itchy, scaly rash), tinea cruris (fungal infection involving genital areas and the inner thigh and characterized by red, itchy, ring-shaped rashes), and tinea corporis (fungal infection of the trunk, arms, and legs).
It is also used to manage candidiasis or moniliasis (a fungal infection of the skin, mouth, throat, gut, and vagina), tinea (pityriasis), and versicolor (a fungal infection causing lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs).
CIVADERM XL CREAM should be used during pregnancy only if it is considered clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

The most common side effects of using CIVADERM XL CREAM are itchiness, a mild burning sensation, or redness. Contact your doctor if any of the above symptoms worsen.
