Cipmol Tablet belongs to analgesic and antipyretic medicine used to manage mild to moderate pain (such as musculoskeletal pain, headache, toothache and painful menstrual periods) and fever. It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient which is used to manage mild to moderate pain and fever.
Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic which works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase, COX-1 and COX-2 which are involved in prostaglandin (PG) synthesis. Thus, helps to reduce pain and fever.
Always take Cipmol Tablet as advised by the physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Taking Cipmol Tablet more than daily dose may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (such as swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash). Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding women and if you are suffering from any medical condition to manage the risk of any unusual effects.
