Cipladine 5% Solution is a non-stinging, non-irritating microbicidal solution used for preparation of skin and mucous membrane including prior to surgery. It is a topical antiseptic-germicidal medicine used for multiple skin problems. It contains Povidone iodine as an active ingredient. It is also used as a microbicide of choice for disinfection of wounds, used for cuts, abrasions and lacerations, used for post operative dressings to manage against possible infections.
Povidone iodine is an antiseptic and disinfectant agent works against the harmful microbes and works against the growth of the infection from spreading in the regions of cuts and wounds.
Use Cipladine 5% Solution as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Shake well before use. Read the label for directions before use. Wash your hands before and after the application of the solution. Do not use if you are allergic to Povidone iodine.
