BUDEXA 1.0MG RESPULES contains Budesonide which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage asthma. Asthma is a respiratory disease in which the airways become inflamed, swollen, and narrowed. It also causes excessive mucous secretion in the airways which makes it difficult for the air to pass through the airways leading to unpleasant symptoms like wheezing, difficulty in breathing, chest pain or cough. BUDEXA 1.0MG RESPULES can also be used to manage croup in infants and in children. Croup is a respiratory infection that causes barking sound in children due to blockage in the upper respiratory tract. Budesonide is a steroid medication. It works on the airways and manages the cells present in the airways from releasing certain chemicals that causes inflammation and swelling. As results, it manages asthma attack and improves breathing. BUDEXA 1.0MG RESPULES is for inhalation use only. Do not stop using BUDEXA 1.0MG RESPULES once your symptoms subside without consulting your doctor. Make sure to rinse your mouth with water after inhaling the medicine to avoid the risk of fungal infections in the oral cavity. Before using BUDEXA 1.0MG RESPULES, inform your doctor if you have any lung infections, cold or chest infection. You must also inform your doctor if you have any liver problems. BUDEXA 1.0MG RESPULES should be used in pregnant women only if considered necessary by the doctor. It should be used with caution in children and in the elderly patients. If you experience sudden episodes of breathlessness, wheezing or chest tightness while undergoing therapy with BUDEXA 1.0MG RESPULES, consult your doctor immediately.
