BLONITAS 4MG TABLET contains Blonanserin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antipsychotic agents. BLONITAS 4MG TABLET is used to manage schizophrenia, which occurs as a serious mental disorder that affects a person’s ability to think, feel or behave clearly.
BLONITAS 4MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Blonanserin.
Before taking BLONITAS 4MG TABLET, inform the doctor if the patient is in coma state and/or have kidney/liver problems.
BLONITAS 4MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is clearly necessary.
The medicine is also advised to be used with caution in adolescents (aged 12 to 18 years) and in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking BLONITAS 4MG TABLET are symptoms of Parkinson's syndrome (such as tremor in limbs, muscle rigidity, slow movement), akathisia (restlessness), insomnia, drowsiness, anxiety, irritability, itchiness and/or rash. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.
