BETNOVATE N CREAM is a combination of Betamethasone and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids and Antibiotics respectively. It is used to reduce redness and itching associated with skin problems which involves the risks of infection (such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis or insect bites).
Apply a thin layer of BETNOVATE N CREAM on the affected areas. Avoid contact of this medicine with your eyes, mouth, ears, nose or with open wounds. BETNOVATE N CREAM should be used on the face only if instructed by the physician. Do not cover the application site with bandages, dressings or clothes. Do not wear nappies to children after applying BETNOVATE N CREAM.
Avoid going near smokes or naked flames to avoid the risk of burns. Before using BETNOVATE N CREAM inform your doctor if you have any other skin problems such as acne, rosacea (severe skin redness), red, spotty rashes around your mouth, itching in the genitals or around the anus or any severe form of viral or fungal skin infections.
Consult your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. BETNOVATE N CREAM is not suitable for use in children aged below 2 years. The most common side effects of using BETNOVATE N CREAM are burning, irritation and itching at the site of application, skin thinning, changes in skin colour, increased hair growth and stretch marks.
