BEPOFREE EYE DROPS contains Bepotastine which belongs to the group of medicines called as Antihistamines. It is indicated in the management of itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis.
Allergic conjunctivitis is a common allergic condition of the eye affecting the outer lining of the eye (conjunctiva) to the particles in the surroundings to which a person is allergic. It can appear as red, watery, itchy, or swollen eyes.
If you use contact lenses, you should remove the contact lenses before using BEPOFREE EYE DROPS and can put them back after 10 minutes of use.
Before using BEPOFREE EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver, heart or lung diseases.
BEPOFREE EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in children below 2 years of age. Prior consultation must be taken for the use of BEPOFREE EYE DROPS in pregnant and breast-feeding women.
The most common side effects of using BEPOFREE EYE DROPS are mild taste, irritation in the eyes, headache, swelling of nose and throat from inside. Ask for your doctor’s advice if any of these doesn’t improve or worsen.
