BENZOL 10% LOTION contains Benzoyl peroxide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-bacterial and Anti-inflammatory agents. It is used in the management of acne (pimples) in the face, chest and back. It is also used to unplug the blocked pores (blackheads and whiteheads) and absorb excess oil from the skin. Before using BENZOL 10% LOTION, inform your doctor if you are having any allergy to foods, preservatives or dyes or if you are already under any medication for acne. It is not recommended to use hard cleansers, scrubs, medicated soap or cosmetic products containing alcohol while using this medicine. BENZOL 10% LOTION is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women unless clearly needed. Consult your doctor before using the medicine. Avoid repeated exposure to sunlight or other sources of UV light (such as sun bed). In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. Most common side effects of BENZOL 10% LOTION are skin redness and irriation, burning, stinging sensation in the skin. Consult your doctor if any of above symptoms worsens.
