BENFOMET PLUS TABLET is a combination of Alpha lipoic acid, Methylcobalamin, Benfotiamine, Pyridoxine which belongs to the group of medicines called Nutritional supplements and Vitamins respectively. It is used to manage diabetic neuropathy and helps to manage blood sugar levels.
Diabetic neuropathy is a type of nerve damage occurring because of increased blood sugar levels which mainly occurs in feet and legs. Symptoms includes sharp pain, muscle weakness, severe sensitivity to touch, numbness, serious cases ulcers, infections, bone, and joint damages. Your doctor will ask you to monitor blood sugar levels regularly while taking management with BENFOMET PLUS TABLET.
It is not recommended for use in patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, and allergic to any of its components. BENFOMET PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in children. Before taking BENFOMET PLUS TABLET inform your doctor if you have liver disease, thyroid disease, severe diabetes, thiamine deficiency. The most common side effects of taking BENFOMET PLUS TABLET involves nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, loss of appetite with fear of weight gaining (anorexia), loose motions. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen or persists for a long duration.
